Sounds of a butterfly
A message from eli:
I think I came into this world a very free spirited person as most fire signs do. Somewhere along the way that fire was nearly smothered, diminished even.
I remember in the thick of it all, when life's curve-balls seemed recurrent and overwhelming; I found a butterfly etched into the mantel of my fireplace. It was something I never noticed, but then, in the midst of every self-doubt; it was the push I needed.
Ironically, the house burned down, yet the butterfly was the sole survivor of the inferno. Somehow it made its way back to me. Funny how it happens, right?
Butterfly is a milestone, a personal pivot point, and possibly the greatest thing I've had the chance to create. I'll always cherish the memories of creating this album, as each song has a significant meaning to me. Join me as I pursue a career not as an acrobatic pop "diva", but as a musician and an artist who will not be deterred.
Spread your wings and prepare to fly, baby!
Side A: Soul bearing, heartfelt anthems.
Side B: Lustful, wistful, contemplative ballads.
As I continue my journey into the world of film, I'd like to give a special thank you to Paul Hunter, Herb Ritts, Daniel Pearl, & Diane Martel. I am grateful that you all shared your direction and creative visions with the little old Butterfly, x.
"The Roof" Desire personified.
"My All" a tale of undying sacrifice.
"Breakdown" unrequited love has never looked so good.
"Butterfly" the art of letting go.
"Honey" don't you want a taste?
See The Butterfly, in all her posh Huntington glory.
